Musalsalat Ramadan 2011

This is the first time I spend Ramadan alone. The waiting time is longer here, but I don't mind. I'm trying to figure out when the musalalat are on and where. I can't seem to access Watan TV online :/.

Yes 24!

Today is my 24th birthday! 

I always like to post on my blog on this special day :D. First time I'm spending it without the family! 

No me have no plans as I have class and everything dies after 6 pm here except pubs and clubs that is! What's great is a number of my friends remembered and already called and msged me! 

Yay me!

Everyone kept telling me to watch this...I didn't actually like it...what about you guys? I like the original advert but my sister made a good observation. This isn't actually good for children because it encourages them to be materialistic and wanting money in a disrespectful way. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the kids' dancing! They look like fun kids and the dresses the girls were wearing were really pretty.

Anyways, what do you guys think of this "other NBK ad"?

We all go through life with our ups and downs. 

We all wish we could go back and change things. 

We all want things to turn out a certain way. 

We all hope to find the things that make us happy. 

Yet no matter how happy we become, there will always be this one part we find disappointment in. 

We try and try and try...to satisfy the ones around us...and long for that moment of peace. 

When we find it, we struggle to hold on to it.

We become more impatient and the cycle goes on and on and on...

The problem is with trying to choose between satisfying youself or the others

You end up sacrificing for the others and give them excuses and try to make sense of things

But NO there aren't any answers for those Q's in your head that will help you find your sane self again.

So we wish for that angel.
