I've been back for a couple of days...hopefully will start blogging again!

Musalsalat Ramadan 2011

This is the first time I spend Ramadan alone. The waiting time is longer here, but I don't mind. I'm trying to figure out when the musalalat are on and where. I can't seem to access Watan TV online :/.

Easter Eggs Anyone?

Yummy. I already ate mine. I like choco eggs.There is something about eating choco eggs that makes me so happy. Also, they look nice it makes me upset to eat them. Chocolate here is so yummy.

My Easter holiday began today. Of course, not so much holiday as much as sleeping, eating, breathing assignments. But anyhoo it's still better than nothing. 

Quick update

I've been lacking for my blog sometime..I think it's because i've moved from Kuwait and starting the course here in the UK. I feel no attachment to this place. But I've nearly finished classes, so maybe I will discuss some of my adventures here and there. It's been weird but an amazing experiance!

I promise to try keep my blog alive again.

New month...New semester!

I've had a little break and now I'm back again. But seriously I've become blank about what to write about on my blog. It feels weird that I'm not in Kuwait for such a long time, but I actually got used to living alone! Just a few more months and I'll be done, hopefully.

Yes 24!

Today is my 24th birthday! 

I always like to post on my blog on this special day :D. First time I'm spending it without the family! 

No me have no plans as I have class and everything dies after 6 pm here except pubs and clubs that is! What's great is a number of my friends remembered and already called and msged me! 

Yay me!

I'm Moving....FINGERSCROSSED!

I'm moving to my new apartment tomorrow, which I haven't even seen! For some reason, even though the policy is that you have to see the apartment before renting it, this one was different. I didn't have a choice because if I didn't take it then the next Chinese person across the world will. I'm not joking it happened infront of me when I was sitting in their reception!

GLEE Season TWO!

When I first heard that GLEE is back...I was happy...when I finally found a site to stream it off and watched it....I was reminded of how much happiness and excitement this show really brings me...I think it's the combination of my love for high school shows...music..especially songs that I could sing along to..and let's not forget my extra LOVE for comedies!! I'm really speechless...super excited about watching the rest of the series..and worried I won't be studying :P anyways this is one of my FAVE episodes...the songs they picked were my most loved ones...including New York, Telephone, and Billionaire...:D All were performed very well...and the plot surprises me more than before...The writers are MUCH better..I'm guessing because they want to be better and know they have to improve...AHHHHHHHHHHHH..and the new members of the show FAB FAB FAB! Seriously, they have a really great team working with them! This show gives me goosebumps and brings me to tears at the same time...because of the JOY of hearing such amazing voices...I don't think this ever happened to me with anything I've known! Honestly...when my bro told me I would love this show...I didn't understand...then he gave me the first series and I finished it in under 2 days :P

Announcement: My New Home

I have moved and currently studying my postgraduate course in the UK. Yes, finally I'm doing something useful with my life and YES this was what my countdown was all about which I wanted to tell you about.It's been hectic and only yesterday I found a suitable apartment to live in.

What can I say? Well staying in the "heart of the city" means staying in the "heart of the noise and drunks". The streets r steeeeeeeeeeep so for the first few days my legs were suffering, I'm really enjoying it though. It's getting tougher to deal with the work load and the amount of rain. I have forgotten that the weather is very unpredictable. As most of my readers know I love the sun. I'm trying to  focus on looking at the "bright side".

I feel at home as I've lived here before anyways, however, the university life here is great and so different to KU. Truly another world. I still don't get the weird dress code and the clashing of colours and styles. I'll keep you more updated when I have more interesting news and time!

Warranty Ruined the Laptop's System.

Why is it when you take your laptop to the dealers to fix it they bring it back with even more problems?

Two days ago I decided it was time to check  why my fan was making so much noise. It usually bothers me when the room is really quiet. So I stayed up and went to the company. The first impression I got from the place is that there wasn't anyone at the front desk, even though they said that working hours start at 9:30am and I was there at around 9:45am.

I was sent in to the customer service and the man looked like he didn't know where God has thrown him! I told him that the fan makes noises every once in a while. So he was like leave it and we will check it. I told him I will wait. So I sat waiting for almost 45 minutes then I took the laptop home and was so happy I wanted to go shopping! When I quickly switched the laptop on I realised that the wireless wasn't working. I got SOOO MAD! I had to go back quickly and asked him what he had done and why this has happened!? He said it's because I put it on stand by for a long time. EXCUSE ME! I told him I put my laptop most of the time on hiberanate...again he looked at me funny not understanding a word I was saying. He said all he had done is clean the fans and didn't touch the system. He fixed it again and I went home.

The same night I was trying to take pictures out of my flash and the USB ports weren't working, except one. I was SO MAD. What did he do? Why was my system failing all of a sudden? There was nothing wrong with it before! I couldn't sleep all night and was waiting for get to the company. I went and told him you ruined my laptop...and again he repeats telling me he didn't touch the system! Ya3ny who could have done it then? I told him to fix it and he took the laptop saying he had to format. I refused! There wasn't anything wrong with it!

I don't know whats happened and they didn't inform me, but I will have to call today and check again. I hope they don't have a hoilday :/

Sorry for my rant...but NEVER EVER take your computer to the company, unless you trust them. Now I have a VERY VERY VERY bad image of the company and if I get the chance I would complain to the manager.

Now I have to wait to get someone elses laptop :/
